This project redeveloped a dilapidated estate and grounds. The existing home was gut renovated and an addition constructed to strengthen the buildings relationship to the site. The overall impact of the project was reduced, by dispersing program into existing outbuildings, which were renovated and incorporated in the home. The outdated and inefficient construction was replaced with a state of the art, high efficiency HVAC system, and insulated building envelope. Long life cycle materials were utilized in the building envelope to reduce maintenance costs.
