Shepard Hall

Restoration of historic terracotta façade with recreations of original detail in glass fiber reinforced concrete as a thin shell cladding installed with a clip angle system over a structural masonry back-up. Measured and documented original detail in the field; catalogued the original ornamental pieces into survey drawings; developed survey drawings into assembly drawings and details used as basis for installers sequence of assembly, and fabricators piece drawings. New pieces were fabricated in molds made from both graphic representations and direct molding of salvaged terra cotta pieces.
